Media personality and Chairman of the Chennai-based Media Foundation, Sasikumar is making his debut as an actor in a Mammootty's Loud Speaker.

The film, directed by the critically-acclaimed Jayaraj, is a family entertainer and in the film, Sasikumar has a parallel role with Mammootty. He plays the character of a highly sophisticated NRI, who returns to his roots in Kerala.

Says Sasikumar: 'Mammootty is one of the finest in the country. He made me feel comfortable, and it was a great joy working with him.'

Sasikumar had earlier directed the brilliant off-beat film Kaya Tharan on the 1984 riots against the Sikhs in Delhi. It was MammoottyĆ©³ idea to rope in Sasikumar to do this role in Loud Speaker
