When we talk about true legends of Indian cinema, the name Amitabh Bachchan figures in the top-list. Given his versatile performances over the past few decades, Amitabh has been enthralling the audience with his range of roles.
Now, many say that he is likely to contend for the Oscars next year with his role in the forthcoming venture ‘Paa’. Apparently, Big B is playing the role of a school going boy who is suffering from the rare disease of ageing quickly and looking like a grown up man.
Already, the look of Amitabh has been mesmerizing all and with his performance, they say that he is sure to stand in contention for the prestigious Oscar. The film also has his son Abhishek Bachchan playing his father and the sensuous Tamil Brahmin beauty Vidya Balan.

Knowing the sensibilities of Karan Johar (producer) and Rensil D’Silva (director), that’s the least one could have expected.”
Kareena insists that Kurbaan is a deep-rooted love story, she says, “Kurbaan has a deep-rooted love story to it, but it is not a frothy romantic film that we are time and again exposed to. The love story is much deeper here. There is a definite meaning, purpose and reason to it. Also, the film is quite powerful in its own way since it’s the voice of moderate Islam.”

Though the awards are seen as Europe's premiere music event few European artists have received nominations in key categories. The majority of nominations are American artists, some European countries which dominate in key categories include the United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, France and Germany.
The 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards logo and promos were designed in-house by MTV World Design Studio in Milan and Buenos Aires with additional input by Swedish graphic design company Kungen & Hertigen.
