Sathyan Anthikad has started the shoot of his golden jubilee untitled film in Kozhikode locations with Jayaram and Mamta from January 27.

The man who has discovered Asin, Nayanthara and Samyukta says: “AfterAchuvinte Amma, I’m having a powerful lady character in this film. Actually I wanted to introduce a new girl in this role but search proved to be futile. Finally I zeroed in on Mamta after seeing her Passenger as she fits into the role of Vidyalakshmi, the central character in my film.”

Mamta plays the mother of a five year old in the film who meets Jayaram an autorikshaw driver and a do-gooder who develops a friendship with the mother and daughter which leads to the emotional twist in the film. The film has lots of sentiments, emotional moments laced with comedy and is sure to appeal to the family audiences.

The untitled Sathyan film produced by an NRI Thankachan Emanuel has all his regular actors and crew and will be the directors big summer release in April.
